Bertha and Jacob Kovalerchik were both born in the Gomel District of Belarus. They married and had four children – Chonon, David, Louis and Zishe. David and Louis came to America in the early 1900’s. Chonan made his way to Lithuania.

Many of us have conducted research into our ancestry and heritage. We have put the pieces of our history together through our expanding connections to other descendents. Through this, we collectively decided to have a reunion to get to know our extended family.
